Prior to starting as an associate at Aitken Klee LLP, Émilie clerked at the Federal Court of Appeal for the Honourable Marianne Rivoalen in 2022–2023.
Émilie is fluently bilingual and completed her legal education in common law in French at the University of Ottawa. During her studies, she worked as a summer student in intellectual property for a national law firm. She was also an assistant editor and an associate editor with the Ottawa Law Review and worked as a research assistant for three professors.
Prior to embarking on her legal career, Émilie worked in consulting engineering in the field of structural engineering and taught engineering-related courses at Collège Boréal.
